We have changed our name to Lackawanna College to better reflect the reality of the institution today. Over our 107-year history, Lackawanna College has gone from manual typewriters to high speed computers, from secretarial courses to biotechnology studies. Today, Lackawanna College provides a vast spectrum of educational offerings. The title "junior college" had become too restrictive to encompass the present status of the College or to express the potential in our future.
