The U.S. Department of Education's web site, is a comprehensive informational Their guide, "Student Guide to Financial Aid" is free and very useful. A scholarship search engine site that claims to have information on 400,000+ scholarships. You can search by interests, majors, ethnic background, extracurricular activities, etc.

This site offers comprehensive financial aid information, as well as calculators that help families to determine the level of debt that they can afford and links to college financial aid offices

One of the nation's largest student loan organizations, this site contains useful calculators that allow you to figure your Expected Family Contribution (EFC), scholarship search engines and a host of other useful financial aid information.

First Niagara Bank
The site for First Niagara Bank, Subsidized or Unsubsidized Stafford Loans to PLUS Loans or Home Equity Loans and Lines of Credit.
